2. Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the housing using a Philips head screwdriver.<\/p>\n

3. Carefully separate the top and bottom halves of the housing and remove the existing bypass filter plug.<\/p>\n

4. Insert the new GE WR17X33825 bypass filter plug into the lower housing.<\/p>\n

5. Place the top housing back onto the bottom half and secure it with the two screws.<\/p>\n

6. Reconnect the power to your water filter and test the new filter plug.<\/p>\n
