1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply valve for the washer.<\/p>\n

2. Remove the plastic back panel of the washer by removing all of the screws located on the back of the washer and pulling off the panel.<\/p>\n

3. On the back of the door opening, locate the existing hinge spring holder.<\/p>\n

4. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the screws on the hinge spring holder and discard it.<\/p>\n

5. Insert the replacement hinge spring holder into the back of the door opening and secure with screws.<\/p>\n

6. Reinstall the plastic back panel to the washer, making sure all of the screws are tightened securely.<\/p>\n

7. Turn on the water supply valve and plug in the power cord to the wall outlet.<\/p>\n

8. Test the washer to make sure the hinge spring holder is functioning properly.<\/p>\n
