2. Remove the top of the dryer by unscrewing the four mounting screws located on the back panel of the dryer.<\/p>\n
3. Pull the front panel away from the drum and locate the heating element. This is usually located in the upper-right corner of the dryer.<\/p>\n
4. Unplug the wiring harness from the heater element.<\/p>\n
5. Remove the two screws holding the heating element in place.<\/p>\n
6. Slide the old heating element out of the dryer’s cabinet.<\/p>\n
