Unplug the washer from the wall outlet and turn off any fuses or circuit breakers connected to it.<\/p>\n
Step 2: Empty any remaining water from the tub of the washer. To do this, you will need to tilt the washer on its side and carefully remove the bottom panel.<\/p>\n
Step 3: Unscrew the three screws at the bottom of the washer that hold the lip seal in place. Once you have removed these screws, you should be able to lift the lip seal out of the washer.<\/p>\n
Step 4: Before installing the new lip seal, make sure the area where the lip seal goes is free of dirt, debris, and other contaminants. If there is any present, use a wet\/dry vacuum or compressed air to remove them.<\/p>\n
