LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Refrigerator SPRING MHY62044106 DIY Instructions for Replacing the MHY62044106 LG Refrigerator Spring<\/p>\n
1. Unplug your LG refrigerator from the electrical outlet.<\/p>\n
2. Remove any food stored in the refrigerator, including any items stored on or near the shelf or shelves with the spring you will be replacing.<\/p>\n
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew and remove the screws from the side (or sides) of the shelf that needs to have its spring replaced.<\/p>\n
4. Carefully pull the shelf away from the refrigerator.<\/p>\n
5. Unhook the top of the spring from the shelf.<\/p>\n
6. Pop off the cover of the spring hook.<\/p>\n
7. On the inside of the hook, unhook the spring.<\/p>\n
8. Take out the hook and the spring.<\/p>\n
9. Match the hook and the spring of the new MHY62044106 replacement spring.<\/p>\n
10. Place the hook and spring into position, hooking the top of the spring into the shelf.<\/p>\n
11. Reattach the hook\u2019s cover.<\/p>\n
12. Push the shelf back into place.<\/p>\n
13. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to secure the shelf with the screws.<\/p>\n
14. Plug the LG refrigerator back in.<\/p>\n
15. Replace food items onto the shelf with the new spring.<\/p>\n
