Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet and turn off the water supply.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the ice maker cover by lifting it straight up and carefully pulling it away from the unit.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Carefully disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the old ice maker by pressing down on the locking tab and lifting the connector away.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the old ice maker in place.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Pull the old ice maker straight out and discard it.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Line up the new ice maker with the mounting holes and insert the four screws to secure it in place.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the new ice maker.<\/p>\n<p> 8. Replace the ice maker cover and press it firmly until it clicks into place.<\/p>\n<p> 9. Turn on the water supply and plug the refrigerator back into the power outlet.<\/p>\n<p> 10. Reset the ice maker by pressing and holding the reset button for three seconds.<\/p>\n<p> 11. Put a container under the ice maker and fill it with water up to the indicated line on the reservoir.<\/p>\n<p> 12.
