Unplug the power cord, or if hardwired, turn off the circuit breaker that powers the washer.<\/p>\n
2. Open up the lid of the washer. Remove the screws that secure the top cover and carefully lift the cover off.<\/p>\n
3. Locate the timer assembly, which is located on the top of the main control board. It will be connected to the board via a four-wire harness.<\/p>\n
4. Disconnect the four-wire harness from the timer assembly.<\/p>\n
5. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws that hold the timer assembly in place, and remove the timer.<\/p>\n
