Replacing the Whirlpool 8547174V PULLEY-IDR<\/p>\n<p> Step 1: Unplug the dryer\u2019s power cord from the outlet.<\/p>\n<p> Step 2: Remove the four screws on the top of the dryer that hold the top panel to the body of the dryer. Lift the top panel off and set it aside.<\/p>\n<p> Step 3: You will find two screws at the back of the dryer that holds the front panel onto the dryer. Remove these screws.<\/p>\n<p> Step 4: Slide the front panel of the dryer off and set it aside.<\/p>\n<p> Step 5: The belt and pulley that were behind the front panel is how the drum of the dryer turned.
