2. Twist the filter 1\/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock and remove.<\/p>\n
Replacing the filter:<\/p>\n
1. Check the new filter for proper orientation. The arrow on the side of the filter should point toward the refrigerator wall.<\/p>\n
2. Insert the filter into the housing.<\/p>\n
3. Twist the new filter 1\/4 turn clockwise until it is properly seated.<\/p>\n
4. Reset the \u201cchange filter\u201d indicator light, if your model has one.<\/p>\n
5. End by flushing the new filter with one to two gallons of cold water to improve taste and reduce air bubbles.<\/p>\n
